We are deeply committed to protecting and preserving the natural environment, both at our quarry and beyond.
At Denfind Stone, sustainability is at the heart of everything we do - from responsible quarrying to reprocessing materials, minimising waste, and delivering low-carbon, eco-friendly solutions for future-focused construction projects.
Responsible Quarrying Production

Local Supply Chain
Denfind Stone uses sustainable quarrying techniques, prioritising efficient material use, local supply chains, and restoring quarry sites with tree planting and landscaping to minimise environmental impact and preserve natural spaces.

Energy Efficient Production
Our purpose-built facility utilises advanced technology to optimise energy use, reducing our carbon footprint while ensuring the sustainable processing of high-quality Angus sandstone.

Specialist machinery
Our production facilities use an innovative LEV system to capture silica dust at the source, ensuring no dust escapes into the environment. Its effectiveness is continuously monitored for optimal performance.
Minimising Waste
We maximise resource efficiency by reprocessing stone offcuts and demolition materials, turning them into valuable products, reducing waste, and supporting eco-friendly construction practices.

The future
The Monikie site advances towards carbon neutrality with solar panels, biomass heating, self-generated oxygen, on-site power for vehicles, and quarry waste repurposed into building and landscaping materials.
